Dancing at Santoini

After church I went to the Jonny Martin night again at Santorini. It was cool I got was jiving out to the live jazz music they have there every week and an old lady asked me to dance. They were really nice, I danced with another old lady and they invited me to go sit with them, I talked to a guy named warren that comes out and love the scene. There was another dude that had his own winery too.

Not everyone has to be all secluded and unpleasant with age.

Also, Charlie explained domo kun, we got to see her lil brother who was excited about the link pair and explained how he needed a deku shield.

Kumoricon 2008

So about a week ago was Kumoricon. I had lots of fun this year. Last year was plagued with certain rideshare guy that was crazy rude and demanding. Luckily I didn't have to deal with him, in fact I saw him in the halls and said "hi" but he didn't remember me. Score!

Something else new about this year is that I decided to sign up as staff at the last minute. I made some friends over the course of the year that were staffers even last year's con chair. So wasn't going to be staff as first sense really there are no benefits to speak of. However I don't regret it, it was lots of fun.

I helped out with panels staff and also helped out with the info desk answering questions selling tickets to tea parties and the like. I cosplayed as dark link from legend of zelda (er more like shadow link without the body paint) but it was cool. The costume was a bit hot though. Which I am kicking myself because I picked it as a costume that I didn't think would be too hot.

Anyway, I'm hoping to help out with mini k-con events over this next year too. One thing that I wanted to do but didn't get a chance was interview random people about their costume like they did on Kwoon some of those videos are amazing!
