Ape Caves

<--I am the fearsome Underminer!
Went with Theresa, her new boyfriend Jacob and two of my friend AJ and James to Ape caves. Ape caves are lave tubes at the base of mount saint helens. It was not the best time we've done it, Theresa and Jacob went ahead after a bit because the rest of us were going slow. James had a light that didn't work too well so that was slowing him down, I actually brought three lights but I gave my flashlight to AJ and kept the lantern + headlamp for myself. The headlamp though died about midway so I was mostly just using the propane lantern. It actually works very well in a complete black cave. Cheapo flashlight... not so much.

James left in the dark-->

Anyway, there were some tough times but no one got left behind and we all made it through. AJ hit his head on rocks a couple times, James twisted his ankle (luckily on the outside walk back) all in all it was exciting, a great way to spend a day, it is only a hour and a half drive.

yet another quiz tee-hee

Your Love Song Is

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson

"Maybe you've been through this before
But it's my first time so please ignore
The next few lines cause they're directed at you
I can't always be waiting, waiting on you
I can't always be playing, playing your fool"

You've been waiting for love, and you're not going to wait any longer!

argh, so sore

So I made it there and back, it took me about 45 mins a trip, but my butt is so raw and I'm all dirty sweaty. On top of that there is a soreness in my legs in places I didn't know I had muscles.

I wanna be like Dave

After reading Dave's blog about riding from seattle to Portland I decided to ride from home to work tonight (last night of work for the week)

It is about eight miles.

I actually took Cornell and Evergreen most of the way, I'm not one to take a bicycle on 26.

disconected

The Sunday (next day) after I lost my cell phone the internet went out. I don't have a phone no digital communication for half a day, it was painful. Anywho, I did dishes, cleaned, took out the trash, took out the recycle, even took out the glass recycle (early!)

Neibors were out because they couldn't watch their cable TV so we got to chat a bit. They were cleaning their cars.

I just got another cell phone, turns out if I want to get a RAZR from cingular it costs $300 but I got a used one off of ebay. Mike has an extra cingular sim card so I should be ok.

Phone!!
